Wapello County Hunter Education Schedule
A ten hour hunter education class is required for anyone born after January 1, 1967
who wants to purchase an Iowa hunting license. Anyone under the age of 18 who has a
hunting license must also carry a Hunter Education Certificate while hunting, and anyone
ages 12-15 who wants to apply for a youth deer license must have a Hunter Education Certificate.
Register on March 13, 2001
Time: 7:00 to 8:00 p.m.
Where: Ottumwa Izaak Walton League
Classes: March 20, March 22, from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. and March 24, from 8:00 a.m. to noon.
Register on September 4, 2001
Time: 7:00 to 8:00 p.m.
Where: Ottumwa Izaak Walton League
Classes: September 11, September 13, from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. and September 18, from 6:00 to 9:30 p.m.
Register on October 2, 2001
Time: 7:00 to 8:00 p.m.
Where: Ottumwa Izaak Walton League
Classes: October 9, October 11, from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. and October 13, from 8:00 to noon.
Register on October 30, 2001
Time: 7:00 to 8:00 p.m.
Where: Ottumwa Izaak Walton League
Classes: November 6, November 8, from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. and November 10, from 8:00 to noon.
All classes will be held at the Ottumwa Izaak Walton League. You must attend all three classes.
